Olivia is 10 months old and learning new stuff everyday. She is not officially crawling but she is close. She rolls to get where she wants to be. She says mama and dada and loves to smile. We sure love her and are excited to celebrate her first Christmas with her.
Olivia is 7 months old today and she can kind of sit on her own, after a little bit she falls to one side, but she is doing pretty good. I have been trying to feed her solid food for about a month and she doesn't seem to really like it, but we keep trying. She has two bottom teeth that came about a week ago.
She is fun to have around during the day and she is a pretty good lunch and shopping buddy so far. She usually takes a short morning nap and then is ready to play. She just went with me to Colorado and Kansas to visit family and she did great on the plane and in the car.
She rolls all over the place and puts everything in her mouth so I guess I need to make sure and vacuum often. She is keeping us all busy and Payton and Kayda still cannot get enough of her, I love that they can kind of play with her now. Horray for reaching 7 months I think she will probably be crawling soon.
Kayda turned 5 yesterday. I cannot believe how fast she is growing up. She was excited to go to school and share her birthday treat ( powdered donuts). Olivia and i brought her McDonalds for lunch and in the evening we had a small family birthday party at chuck e cheese. She had a great day and loved the baby doll, clothes, and princess dress up clothes she got. We love you Kayda !
Today Payton started 2nd grade, Kayda started kindergarten and Olivia is officially 6 months old. My big girls were excited to start school and we all made it with no tears. I thought I would be crying but I think I was to busy getting them and their supplies to the right spot that I just didn't. I am sad I will miss my little buddy kayda, but I am sure Olivia will keep me busy. I hope they have a great first day.
We spent a few hours at the Arizona science center today and we had a great time. I bought a summer pass there this year and we have gone 3 times so far so I think it was worth it. Today the girls liked playing waitress and store clerk the best.
We decided it was time to take our girls to the beach so we decided to try camping on the beach with our friends. I was worried because our camp site was right by the train tracks and the freeway, but it didn't seem to matter all 3 of my girls still slept and we had a fun weekend. We played on the beach Friday and Saturday. Kayda mainly dug in the sand and got her feet week, Payton played close to the shore but spent most of her time in the water, and Olivia mainly slept and smiled at everyone. Overall it was a fun trip.
