Fun in the summer.

I feel like we are so busy this summer, which is making the weeks go by so fast, but we are having fun. A typical week for us right now right now is
Monday - Swimming at grandma and grandpa Evans house and then Payton has dance class
Tuesday - Princess dance/ singing class for Payton and then usually playing with friends after
Wednesday- Drive to Tempe to clean my brothers house and see my mom
Thursday-Movie in the morning, play with friends in afternoon
Friday-Swimming lessons, and hang out with friends

I do not enjoy the heat so much, but I do love the summer, because of all the activities, and I feel like I get to see my friends more during the day. This week we had our typical summer schedule, but Payton did get new dance clothes for her Monday class (see below I think it is so cute)
My mom also gave her a new dress, which see wore two days in a row. (See below it is the new favorite)
We also had a blast swimming at Vanessa's pool party. Kayda does not usually swim with me on Monday's, because it is nap time, but she loved it I am going to have to let her swim more. In addition to swimming Kayda also really loved playing with Aunt Carrie's shoes.

Payton is getting better at swimming everyday I cannot believe she can jump off rocks, go down slides and swim around the pool by herself for the most part.
Payton and Sawyer this is the rock they would jump off into the pool.

10 months old

Kayda is now 10 months old, she turned 10 months a few days ago, but I feel like we have had a busy week, so it has taken me a few extra days to post about it. Kayda makes me laugh everyday, she is still the happiest baby I have even seen and she loves to smiles at complete strangers. She has started to suck her thumb, which I am not thrilled about, but it makes her happy, so what can I do. She says mama and da all the time. She is crawling super fast and has started to get into everything, she has officially learned how to open the cupboards in the bathroom and kitchen and whenever she gets the chance she opens the cupboards and starts to pull things out. She is starting to stand up a lot more and every once in awhile we will catch her standing up all by herself for a few seconds. She does take a few steps while holding onto chairs or the coach, but not very many. She is getting bigger everyday and loves to eat crackers, ice cream, cereal, and she did really like the Oreo I gave her the other day (see picture below). I cannot believe that in less then two months my baby will be one year old they really do grow up way to fast.

Colorado Part 2

Well we are home from our Colorado vacation and I miss it already. It is nice to be home, but we had such a good time it is always sad when it is over. I think it rained everyday we were there and we were not able to go to water world but other then that we had a great time playing at parks, visiting with family and exploring several of Colorado's attractions. Here is some of what we did in pictures.

Reddin and I went to the Denver Temple while my mom watched the kids.

We ate dinner and played with family this is a picture of my grandma with Lindsey her granddaughter and Payton and Kayda her great grandchildren
This is us at that top of mount Evans it is a mountain that is 14,270 feet tall, it was so cold and windy that the girls were having trouble breathing and we were freezing so we jumped out the truck to take a picture really quick and then we waited in the car while Reddin hiked the last quarter mile to the summit.

Reddin before we left to hike up to the summit on Mount Evans
The family down at Echo lake, this was were we stopped after the Mount Evans experience. Payton was not feeling very well from the drive and we needed to get out of the truck for awhile.
This is Payton and Morgan at Elitch Gardens, the kids had a great time riding on all the kids rides (airplanes, boats, trucks, swings, and more), while some of the adults went on roller coasters, my mom and cousin Charon where so nice to watch the little kids (thanks)

My mom and dad with Kayda at Elitches, it was so fun to have them with us.

We went to visit my grandma Redger, this is a picture with 5 of her 7 great grandchildren.

We went and toured a candy factory (Hammond's Candy), we got to watch them make candy canes. Payton had a good time and then of course we had to buy candy from the store before we left.
We went to Belleview park and played with my cousin and her kids. We road the train went to the petting zoo, playing on the slides and then finished at chuck e cheese it was a fun day.
We went to tiny town, which was so cute. They had tons of little building, some that had little people and furniture inside and so that the kids could go in. Kayda loved it, everything was just her size.

Garrett, Ashlynn, Bryce, Morgan and Payton at tiny town.

We went for a ride in my Uncle's model A car. Payton loved it, especially because she did not have to wear a seat belt or be in a car seat.
We played at the Denver REI store and visited the river that is just beside it, I think this is Platte river.
We went to Heritage Square and Payton and Reddin road on the huge Alpine Slide that is in the back ground. They got the ride on the sky lift to the top and then slide down. Payton also got the ride on bummer boats, the swings, and much much more.
We finished off our trip with one more visit to Morgan's house. Payton loved playing with Morgan and already misses her. I hope we will get to go back soon, because we had a blast and we really do miss the cooler weather.

We are having a so much fun, but I can already tell this trip is going to be over before I know it. I am enjoying the cooler weather, I will post pictures when we get back.

New pictures

Payton who is now 3 and a half years old, I cannot believe she is closer to 4 then 3 now.

Kayda 9 months old and ready for church

This is Kayda's new favorite toy at Grandma and Grandpa Evan's house. She finds this dart and then puts it in her mouth for most of the time she is at Grandma's house. Kayda seem to attach herself to one object at a time at our house currently she is attached to a plastic hot dog, which she carries around until nap or bedtime.
Reddin took this picture of Kayda. This is how she sleeps most of the time curled up in a ball, feet crossed and sometimes with her thumb in her mouth. So cute.

Kayda with Grandpa Evan's I love that she smiles for the camera.

Sawyer, Payton and Grandma Evan's playing Princess Bingo after everyone was done swimming on Monday. Grandma Evan's is such a good sport, I know Payton likes to play games, but I just do not take the time to play them with her enough (I guess that is something I need to work on).

I guess the summer activities have officially started around her. We have started swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Evan's house. Payton has started dance class again. We have started going to the summer movies (Payton did great by the way, but Kayda not so great, I think she might hang out with her Grandmas on Thursday mornings when they are available). We have started swimming at friends houses and today Payton starts her little princess class. I think it is going to be a really fun summer. I am especially excited about our family vacation to Denver which starts in two day (hip, hip hurray, for cooler weather, a husband that will be with us for 10 day, cousin's and aunt and uncles to visit with, and water parks)
