We have been so busy the past week that I don't think I have even turned on my computer, so I am a little late when it comes to blogging. Reddin has been off of work for the past week, so we have been having a good time hanging out with family and playing with all the new toys everyone got for Christmas. For Christmas Payton got a Belle dress from Santa and Kayda got a baby doll they loved them both, but they also got really spoiled from their grandparents, they got new movies, clothes, dolls, and other toys. For Christmas Reddin got a mountain bike and I got a GPS running watch. It has been fun running this week knowing exactly how fast and how far I am going.

This week we had our annual progressive dinner with Reddin's family, we celebrated Reddin's mom's birthday by taking family pictures and then playing different games all night long, we went to the zoo today and Payton got to play in the snow, and tonight we are excited to stay up late and celebrate the new year. This has been a great year for us and we are excited to see what 2010 has in store for our family. Happy New Year everyone!!

Are you ready for Christmas?

I really do not know where the time goes, but I still do not feel ready for Christmas, but oh well. I guess instead of doing everything I need to do I haven been having a good time at different Christmas parties, and shopping. I still need to wrap almost all the presents, I need to send out a few more Christmas cards, I need to make 4 dozen cookies today, I need to get a few more gifts I think, I need to deliver some gifts to neighbors, and I would like to clean my house, but I think I can get everything done soon enough. I hope everyone is having a good Christmas season. Merry Christmas.

Disneyland Pictures

Well it has taken me a week to post pictures from our Disneyland trip, but here they are and everyday I am happy to say I am getting a little closer at being ready for Christmas.

Our Disneyland trip was really fun, but a little on the cold side for me and the girls. On Monday it rained the whole day, so we stayed inside a lot, but overall the trip was a success, because we road tons of rides, we saw the Christmas decorations, and the girls got to meet Santa and Mrs. Clause and see their reindeer. If you have not been to Disneyland at Christmas time I highly recommend it the Castle was beautiful along with all the other decorations. Merry Christmas everyone.

Disneyland at Christmas Time!

We just got back from a quick trip to Disneyland. I wanted to go see it all decorated for Christmas time, and I am glad we went. It was so fun and the decorations are beautiful. We went on this trip with my parents and my brother, I will post pictures and more details later. For now I am happy to be home and ready to get start preparing for Christmas.

Thanksgiving recap

We had a great Thanksgiving. I did not run fast enough to beat the turkey at the turkey trot, but I was happy with my time (52 minutes) and I had fun running with Reddin. I think I am getting more competitive, because I really want to run in more races and I want to beat my previous times. After the Turkey Trot we got ready for the day and then went and had the big Thanksgiving meal with my family. Reddin actually cooked the turkey this year in a big fire pit, and it turned out pretty good I think (I am not a big fan of Turkey but everyone seemed to like it). We spent most of the afternoon at my parents house visiting and then we went to Reddin's parents house in the evening. There we made turkey's out of oreos and candy corn they were really good and the kids had fun making them.

On Friday I woke up early and went shopping like always with my mom. I had so much fun, I feel like I can get so much accomplished when I do not have little ones with me. On Friday evening went and played games with Reddin's cousins I did not actually play any games but I had a good talking and eating.

It was a fun few days and the girls loved having Reddin home for such a long time. We are all looking forward to Christmas break now. (I will try to post pictures soon for some reason my camera is not working)
