Thanksgiving recap

We had a great Thanksgiving. I did not run fast enough to beat the turkey at the turkey trot, but I was happy with my time (52 minutes) and I had fun running with Reddin. I think I am getting more competitive, because I really want to run in more races and I want to beat my previous times. After the Turkey Trot we got ready for the day and then went and had the big Thanksgiving meal with my family. Reddin actually cooked the turkey this year in a big fire pit, and it turned out pretty good I think (I am not a big fan of Turkey but everyone seemed to like it). We spent most of the afternoon at my parents house visiting and then we went to Reddin's parents house in the evening. There we made turkey's out of oreos and candy corn they were really good and the kids had fun making them.

On Friday I woke up early and went shopping like always with my mom. I had so much fun, I feel like I can get so much accomplished when I do not have little ones with me. On Friday evening went and played games with Reddin's cousins I did not actually play any games but I had a good talking and eating.

It was a fun few days and the girls loved having Reddin home for such a long time. We are all looking forward to Christmas break now. (I will try to post pictures soon for some reason my camera is not working)
