Kids are a lot of work, but it is worth it.

A few weeks ago I went to help my cousin Tina and her husband Travis with their twins that were born on April 13th a boy and a girl (are they adorable or what). I went for a long weekend and helped with the night time feedings and all the other stuff that goes along with babies. I had forgotten what it is like to have a newborn, it just seems like Payton has grown up so fast, but it really was not that long ago when I was still waking up in the middle of the night to feed her. I cannot believe that Payton can now walk around, get into cupboards; eat pizza and chicken nuggets, and even talk. I really like this stage that she is in (except for when she throws fits), because she is kind of independent, but still adorable.

Anyway after spending the weekend with my cousin, I definitely have a new respect for any mom that has multiple children, because it takes a lot of energy and work when you have two. I always wanted twins when I was younger, but do not think I really knew what I would be getting myself into, but I do think my cousin will be blessed for all she is doing.
