Happy Valentine's Day

I feel like I have been busy most of the week getting ready for different Valentine's parties and Valentine's day, but it has been a lot of fun. Monday and Tuesday I finished making Payton's valentine's and made goodies and valentine bags for a the Valentine's parties I was helping with on Wednesday. I thought it would be fun for the little kids to exchange valentine's so I made bags, rice crispy treats, and chocolate dipped pretzels and we had a great party.

This is the best picture I could get of all the bags lined up. Each of the kids took turn putting their Valentine's in the bags and at the end of the party they all took their bags home. Payton liked looking at her Valentine's and eating the candy.

On Thursday I took Payton and Kayda to get their pictures taken together, and I asked my mom if she wanted to come, because I thought it would be fun for her to see them, but it really wasn't. Both Payton and Kayda were crying, it was ridiculous. I ended up getting Payton to stop crying by telling her she could have a sucker if she was good and Kayda was hit and miss. I did end up getting one good picture, which I will post when I get it.

For Valentine's day Reddin made us pink pancakes for breakfast, which Payton really loved and we got each of the girls a little gift (they each got a book, and shoes).

Kayda looking at her new shoes, I got her little baby crocs, they are so cute.

Reddin played with the girls while I got ready and then he went to his mom's house, while I took Kayda to get her 6 month picture taken. When I got back home this is what I found, so cute.
Do I have a great husband or what? I feel so loved. These are actually rice crispy treats wrapped up to look like big Hersey chocolates. So far this has been a great Valentine's day. I have such a great family and it is so fun that we get to spend this day together.
