So Grateful!

I am so grateful that I have my mom that lives so close and is always willing to help with Payton. It has been such a blessing and I do not know how my friends manage to do so well without the extra help. Our moving situation did not go as well as we hoped, but having family close by really did help the situation.

Yesterday I was sick and could not take care of Payton very well, because I was constantly getting sick and had no energy. Reddin stayed home from work to take care of her, but they were so busy they really needed him there, so my mom came to the rescue. She came over at about 9:30 am feed Payton breakfast, got her dressed, read her stories and then took her to her house for the rest of the day so I could sleep. I was so grateful. I slept the whole day and thanks to that I woke-up feeling much better today.

My mom will probably never read this, but I needed to write it down. I really do not know what I would do without her. When I am having a hard day she will just come pick Payton up and watch her for a few hours, so I can get what I need to done . She watches her when I have a doctors appointment so Payton does not have to sit in the waiting room, and she is always there to rescue us when we have car problems or need someone to go to lunch with. I really do not know what I did when my mom worked full time.

In addition to my mom, I have a great husband that knows I need to rest when he gets home, so he usually always takes over Payton duty without any questions. I have a wonderful mother-in-law that loves Payton and is also always willing to help watch her, which I am sure will happen a lot more when we live just a few miles away and when there is a new baby. I just feel so blessed for the support that surrounds me. Great family and friends what more can a girl ask for.

You are lucky to have local help! About every 3 days I wish my mom, or mother in law, or really anyone with a desire to help would fly in and rescue us!

I'm glad that your mom is so close and that Payton loves to be with her Grandma. I hope that you feel better.
