Another Week!

(Kayda 3 weeks)

Well today Kayda is officially 3 weeks old. I actually feel like I am able to take care of both my girls by myself now, but still do need help entertaining Payton at times. This was a pretty busy week for us. Reddin had Monday and last Friday off so it was great having him home for four days straight. When he is around to help I am usually ready for some type of an outing, so last week we went shopping, went out to eat (sam's club), rented movies, actually went to a movie (Kayda slept the whole time) and went to a family labor day party. It really does feel good to get out of the house, I am not very good at just staying home. On Tuesday Jackie, Jonas, and Finn came to visit us and then I took Kayda to my mom's house, while I took Payton to swimming lessons . On Wednesday my mom came over and took Payton to lunch so I could get a little bit of a nap in, but of course Kayda decided she did not want to sleep at that time. On Thursday Kim, Eva, and Ella came to visit and brought us lunch, which was so nice. And today I brought both girls over to my moms and she watched them, while I went to the mall for a few hours.

Overall I think we are doing pretty good. I still have to rest and take it easy a lot of the time, but for the most part I am starting to feel like myself again. Kayda has her good and bad nights, and always seems to want to be awake at 3:00 or 4:00 am, but I am just tiring to go to sleep earlier so I can deal with that time of night better. Payton is a great big helper, and is still always concerned about were baby sister is and who is taking care of her.
