Thanksgiving Weekend

Turkey Trot Breakfast

Our Thanksgiving weekend was great. On Wednesday night I finally got to go see the movie Twilight, which I really did enjoy. Then on Thursday we started out the day by going to the Turkey Trot, we did not actually run in the Turkey Trot this year, but we meet there and had breakfast and talked. Then we ran home and got the rolls and headed to my mom's house for the Turkey feast. After eating a great Turkey meal, Reddin and I headed to the hospital to see baby Matthew (our nephew) who has now been in the hospital for three week. I am so glad that we went to see him, because he looked so good. We are hoping and praying that he gets to come home soon. After the hospital we stayed at my parents for a few more hours and played games and then Reddin and I headed to his parents house for dessert and more talking. It was a fun day, but I stayed up way to late, because the next day I got up early to go shopping. By the time I feed Kayda and got dressed it was 4:45am before I left our house and some of the stores were way to crowded for my liking, but I did get some good deals at Target, Walmart, and JcPenny's. Friday I spend most of the day shopping and Reddin watched the girls and let me take a nap. I went to sleep at 8:00 pm on Friday, which was really needed. On Saturday we put up our tree and some Christmas decorations, and ended the day by getting Family pictures taken. Overall it was a great weekend. I love when Reddin is home for more then just two days and it was nice to get a head start on Christmas and spend time with our families.
