Getting Older

So far this week we have spent some much needed time at home. I was finally able to clean out Kayda's dresser and pack up the small clothes and move in the 6 to 9 months clothes. I cannot believe how many outfits I had for Payton and for the most part they seem to be in pretty good shape, so I think Kayda is going to be set on clothes for awhile. It seem like it is so warm here already that I felt like it was time to pack up the pants and start wearing the shorts and skirts.

This is a picture Payton took of Kayda wearing an old skirt of Payton's that we found while changing out clothes.

This week Payton also had another dance class and she did great (no crying, hooray). I do not really know what they are doing in dance, because I have not been watching, but they do get to wear a new costume every week, and they get a princess stamped on their hands, which Payton enjoys.

After dance class on Monday Payton also got to go to her first birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's. Her friend Kelly turned four and had a few friends join her at Chuck E Cheese. Everyone had a really good time and I was really impressed I think I might take the girls there more often. Payton loved playing on the phone they had there and riding all the rides. The good thing about Chuck E Cheese is that everything is one token, which makes it easy for the kids.

Kayda also had a good time at the birthday party. I think she liked all the lights and noise. She ended up falling asleep at the end, but she was great for the whole party. She is getting so big so fast, but I do like the fact that she can set up in a highchair.

The rest of the week we have mainly stayed home cleaning, watching movies (Barbie Rapunzel is the favorite this week), playing games, and trying to get organized.
