I feel so blessed

I feel so blessed to be a stay home mom. I have been a stay home mom for about a year and a half now, but I do not think I have ever said how blessed I feel to have that opportunity. I am so grateful, that I get to spend all day, everyday with my wonderful daughter. I am so happy that I can meet with my great friends and their kids during the week, and I am glad that I get to take Payton to do fun things during the week. (This week we went to lunch, shopping, to the zoo, and to a cookie exchange party).

I feel like I have been so stressed out the past several months, that I have forgotten how blessed I am to get to see her so much. Sure we have our rough days, or rough weeks, but at the end of everyday I am so happy to have her in my life. At times I wonder if I have the patience to have more kids, but I think that is because I forget to look at all the good things my daughter does, instead I think I tend to focus on all the trouble she gets into.
So today is a new day and I have a new attitude, which I hope stick around for a while. I really am so blessed to have a husband that wants me to be a stay home mom as much as I want to be one, and a husband that works hard so we have this opportunity. I am blessed to have a wonderful mom that loves her granddaughter, and is willing to have us over during the week, and is willing to watch Payton for me, when I need to make phone calls for work. And lastly I am so blessed to have great friends that know just how you feel and are always willing to talk.

Payton's New Pictures

Here are Payton's two year old pictures. They were so cute I decided I had to buy more then just one, so of course I spent way to much money, but I guess that is part of life. Along with Payton turning two we have also moved out of our house and hope to close on the sale of our house this week. Payton also lost her pacifier (she dropped it in the car) on Thanksgiving, so she is now a big girl that goes to sleep without a pacifier (yeah). besides moving we have not done much. It is harder then I thought it would be to leave our first house behind and move in with family, but we are doing okay. I think that I will feel much better after our house officially closes.
In the mean time I have several boxes that need to be unpacked and several projects I want to complete before Christmas, so wish me luck.

Payton's 2nd Birthday!

Last Sunday (November 18th)Payton turned two, so we had to have a party to celebrate. On Saturday we had all of our family over in the afternoon. Payton had a great time playing with all of her cousins and getting new presents. She got clothes, a backpack, a purse, books, an Elmo toy, puzzles, a princess bike, and lots more. She loved everything she got which is great, because all her new toys are helping keep her entertained while I try to pack.

On Sunday we invited some good family friends over to help us celebrate on her actually birthday and we had a good time, eating ice cream, and watching the kids play with all the toys. Overall it was a busy but fun weekend. I still cannot believe that my little girl is two, but I think I have to accept the fact that she is going to grow up regardless of what I do, so I might as well enjoy every stage.

Moving Time!

Well it finally happened. Reddin and I have sold our house and it looks like we are moving. We have passed the 10 day inspection period, so it is now time to pack, and hope everything goes as planned. We have to be out by November 28th, which leaves us about two weeks. I tried to start packing on Monday, but did not even know where to start, so hopefully I will get more accomplished today.

I think we are slowly going to be moving stuff to my brother's house (which is where we are going to be living until we find our own place). I am so grateful to have family and friends that are so willing to help. I think it is going to be fun living with my brother for Christmas. When we ask Payton if she wants to move in with Uncle Brian she always says, "Yes". I am sad to leave all my friends that live close, but I know this is the right thing to do for our family, and I plan to still visit this side of town often.

It is good to be home!

Payton and I got home on Halloween, and I think both of us were glad to be home. We had a great time on our trip, but we both really missed daddy. I also think I moved Payton around a little too much, which did not make her happy. We spend three night in Oakley Kansas, two nights in Denver, one night in Colorado Springs, and then another two nights in Denver. I always love getting to see my family, but by the end of the trip Payton was in such a bad mood I could not wait to get home. We did not a lot of fun stuff on our trip, and when I can get my computer to work again I will post pictures. We went through a corn maze, looked a pumpkins, went swimming in an indoor pool, went shopping, ate good food, and sat around a talked. Overall, we had a great time. I really do wish my extended family lived closer, but at least I get to see them a few times a year.

Tagged!

So for the first time every I have been tagged, thanks to Amberly. I think the rules are to post six things about yourself. I do not have a lot of time, because I am on vacation, but here it goes.

1. I love to travel, and I am currently visiting my family in Denver, and we are having a great time. Payton is really enjoying playing with my cousin's kids, but she misses her dad, and so do I.

2. I am a big Disney fan. I love Disneyland and Disneyworld. We just got back from Disneyland a few months ago and we are going to Disneyworld in a few months. I do not think I will ever get sick of going to Disneyland or Disneyworld (after all it is the happiest place on earth).

3. I do not like red meat, I am a chicken and turkey girl, but on this trip I have had fried chicken three days in a row and I am ready for a change.

4. I love to swim, I really wish I had a heated swimming pool in my backyard so I could swim year round. I also wish I lived closer to my gym so I could use that pool, but maybe someday.

5. I worry too much. I worry about everything and I wish I didn't but I think it is genetic. I think I would enjoy life a little bit more if I was not always worried that someone was going to get hurt.

6. I do not like to be alone. I enjoy peace and quite, but for the most part I try to avoid being home alone. I do not know why, but I always scare myself when I am home by myself (I know it is sad)

So Sad!!!

Payton and I did not have the greatest of days yesterday; in fact we have not had a very good week. We started potty training and she is doing good, but I think that change and maybe something in the water has put Payton in an unpleasant mood, which is something I struggle with. Anyway yesterday, we had several potty accidents, and several crying fits (she really did not want anything to do with me yesterday), and I just couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Well Reddin knew I needed a break so he had his parents watch Payton so we could go to a movie. We had a good time and when we got back from our date, we got a good report. They said Payton was great, no accidents, and happy as could be (don't you just love when your kids are always better for other people). Anyways I decided just to mark it off as another day in hopes that the next one would be better, but on our way home Payton got sick (so sad). I felt so bad, that is probably why she had so many accidents and why she was in a bad mood, because she did not feel well. I felt horrible, I tried to clean her up the best that I could, but I just wanted to hold her. She slept through the night, but today she has a fever and just wants to cuddle. I am so glad that I am her mom. I know we have hard days, but they are worth it, especially on days like today, when all she wants is to be close to mom and dad.
