Payton and Kayda playing in Kayda's room
On Tuesday I took Payton to swimming lesson and she once again cried for the majority of the class, so I had her do a make up lesson on Friday with a girl teacher and she did great, so I switched teachers and times and I hope that helps (we sure miss having Uncle Travis close by)
On Wednesday I decided it was time for me to get out of the house and take a break, so I went and played volleyball that night after Reddin got home from mutual. I really had a great time, I have not played in almost ten years, but I was surprised that I was still able to serve I guess my seven or eight years of playing was not a complete waste. I really need to practice more, but it was fun and I hope to go more often. My arms were so sore and red after playing I thought I broke something, but I didn't I am just out of shape when it comes to playing volleyball. I guess I really am getting old
On Friday we celebrated Reddin's and my Dad's birthday at Firehouse Subs, and then went and played at Grandma and Grandpa Redger's house for a little bit.

On Saturday morning I woke up and decided to go run in a 5K at a park by our house. I really do not like paying $25 to run in a race, but It was fun and I know the money will go to a good cause, so I think we might do this every year. I found a few of my friends and we stayed together the whole time, while we ran. I am so proud of myself, because I usually only run about two miles, but on Saturday I ran 3 without stopping once and finished it less then 30 minutes.
This is almost at the end of the race
After the race was over, my face was so red and I think it stayed that way for an hour.
While I ran the race Reddin was such a good sport, he took Payton and Kayda to the park and then waited toward the end to get some pictures, what a great husband that I have.

Karen, I ran three miles this morning and thought of you often while I was running. I'm looking for a 5K to sign up for to keep me motivated... I'm proud of you for doing it, and your support crew is darling!!
