Five months old

Today Kayda is five months old and she is doing great. I really cannot believe she is that old already. She is starting to sit up a little bit on her own, and really likes playing with toys and her feet. She is such a good baby I really feel blessed to have her in our family.

This week has been a little crazy. Payton has been sick a lot and that means not much sleep for either Reddin or I. At first she was just throwing up in the middle of the night (she did that three times), I think we finally figured out that she cannot eat cinnamon gummy bears. Right after she stopped getting sick in the middle of the night she got a really bad cold. I feel bad for her, because she does not understand why her nose hurts and why she cannot talk very well. I wish she would just lay down and rest so her body could get better faster, but she doesn't want to. On Tuesday night she was so cold that I finally decided to put her in a warm bath to see if that would help and when I came to check on her I found her fast asleep in the bath tub.

This was also my first week being the activity day assistant and it was crazy. I hope that I am able to help the program be a little more organized in the future and I really hope the girls are able to have fun as well as learn important skills, I also think I will try not to bring my two girls in the future. Having a baby around 8 to 11 year old girls was a big distraction.

I hope that soon everyone in my house starts to feel better soon, so that life can get back to normal. There are so many things I want to get done, but cannot seem to find the time to accomplish with a sick kid that wants to be held and played with all the time. I hope soon to get my house cleaned and in order, I hope to start scrapbooking again, and I hope to have more time to serve others.
