On Tuesday morning Reddin, Kayda and I woke up really early in order to get to Phoenix Children's Hospital by 6:00am so she could have another round of Sclerotherapy. We got to the hospital and sat down and watched the Disney channel until it was our turn to check in. The whole time we where waiting Kayda kept asking, "my turn now", she wanted to get checked in and go play. After we were all checked in the nurses called us back and Kayda got to pick out a new beanie baby (she picked a purple hippo just like Grandma Redger has). After getting measured she was excited to get her purple pajamas on and go play. By this time it was probably about 7:00am which meant we still had an hour to wait before she went in for her procedure. She

She played for a while and then we watched a little bit of a money and then it was time the doctors came in and talked to us and then we took her back to the room. Kayda really was great she was hungry and thirsty and just wanted her cup but she wasn't bad. Reddin took her into the operating room and she didn't even cry when they put her to sleep. Reddin and I waited about an hour and then they were done. They said it went really well and that they could tell that the last time did help (which is always nice to hear). They had us go to the recovery room and wait for her to wake up. They let her sleep and they came her a different type of medicine in hopes that she would come out of the anaesthesia better and it worked. She woke up pretty good and was ready for some juice. She was still really out of it, but they took her IV out right away and let us leave pretty quickly. Kayda's arm hurt and was huge, but overall she did great, she was pretty fussy, but after she woke up from her nap in the afternoon she seemed better and is doing great now. She is such a tough girls. We love you Kayda.
