Last Friday Reddin took Payton on her first lake trip. He meet up with my brother and his friends at Bartlett lake. They spent the night Friday, played at the lake Saturday morning and afternoon and then drove back home in time to make it to Priesthood. He said they had a good time. Payton actually never got wet, but she did get to drive the jet ski which she loved. Reddin and I were laughing so hard on Saturday night, because she told us that she got to ride on the schlotsky (instead of the jet ski) and that dad went skate boarding on the lake (instead of wake boarding). I love how Payton comes up with different words for things. She still calls her overalls her overgirls.
While Reddin and Payton were at the lake Kayda and I got to spend some fun one-on-one time together. I wanted to go to the lake, but I did not think everyone there would enjoy getting woke up a few times during the night by a crying baby, so we just stayed home. I actually had a great time staying home, because I got to sleep in. I also went running in the morning, and I went shopping. It seems so easy to go shopping now when I just have one kid, especially because she sleeps most of the time and does not talk back.
