Well it has been a week so I should probably blog about our Easter before I forget about it all together (I don't know why I feel so busy lately). Anyways Easter weekend started out with a long 21 miles run for me on Saturday morning followed by a fun egg hunt in our community, it is not really a hunt, because they just throw the eggs out and kids go running, but it was fun. After that Reddin went mountain biking and the girls and I went home for a little bit before heading out the the next egg hunt and Chick-fil-a. Kayda would find one egg with candy in it and was happy to just take one and be done. Payton was blindfolded for her egg hunt at chick-fil-a and had the crawl on her hands and knees until she felt something to put in her basket (it was a good idea and Payton did really well).

Saturday night we hung out and Grandma and Grandpa Evan's house while all the guys went to the priesthood session, I like that Kayda is old enough to go play with her cousins now she seems to have no fear.

Sunday morning the girls woke up found there Easter baskets, and then my parents and brother came over for brunch, we had a great time sitting outside relaxing and talking while the kids played and looked for Easter eggs (they just had money in them this year, it was a great idea). After everyone left from my house and after Kayda woke up from her nap we went over the Reddin's parents house for the rest of the evening. We dyed Easter eggs, eat a great dinner, had our annual Easter egg bash, and the kids got to go on an Easter egg hunt in the backyard. It was a really fun day.

You had a busy Easter! It's so fun to have both sets of grandparents close by. Love the dresses the girls got from your mom!
